1. No purchase necessary. To enter:

• Go to www.xtpromo.com and complete the entry form. Although online access and an e-mail account are required in order to participate in this giveaway, no purchase of any kind is required. Many public libraries, retail businesses and others offer free access to computers, and a number of Internet service providers and other companies offer free e-mail accounts.

• The sweepstakes period begins Tuesday, September 2nd 2008

2. This sweepstakes is sponsored by The Lincoln Electric Company, 22801 Saint Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44117 (the “Sponsor”). Entries must be submitted by Midnight on Friday, October 31st, 2008. Winners will be selected on Friday November 7th, 2008 in Cleveland, Ohio in a random drawing conducted by the Sponsor, whose decision is final in all matters relating to this giveaway promotion. Multiple entries will not be eligible. The odds of winning are determined by the number of eligible entries received.

3. This offer is only open to legal U.S. or Canadian residents (excluding those in Quebec) 18 years or older. Employees of Lincoln Electric, and its respective parents, affiliates, advertising and sales promotion agencies, printing and mailing companies, judging panel and members of the immediate families [parents, spouses, siblings] or households of each such employees are not eligible. This promotion is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations.

One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded, consisting of one: roundtrip airfare for two to Las Vegas NV, three (3) nights hotel accommodation, 2 VIP suite tickets to both the NASCAR sanctioned races in Las Vegas (exact date dependant on NASCAR 2009 schedule),at 7000 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Las Vegas, NV 89115. Approximate retail value: $3,500.00 USD.

Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Eligible entry forms will be drawn at random among all eligible forms of entrants who reside in the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec).

There will be no substitution of the grand prize except as necessary due to availability; any income taxes are the winner’s responsibility. Winners will be notified by phone or e-mail and will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility/release within 21 days of notification. By entering the sweepstakes contest, participants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Sweepstakes Rules and decisions by the judges. Except where prohibited, winner agrees to use of his/her name/likeness for advertising and publicity without added compensation. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, provincial and local taxes.

Neither the Sponsor nor its parent company, affiliates, service providers, fulfillment companies, advertising agencies or judging panel are responsible for lost, illegible, misdirected or late entries in this giveaway or for any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries to this promotion. The contest Sponsor will not be responsible for telephone, technical, network, online, electronic, computer hardware or software failure of any kind, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, garbled or delayed Internet/e-mail computer transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation or downloading any material in this contest.

By accepting the prize, winners release The Sponsor, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, its advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, agents and employees from any and all liability with respect to any merchandise or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.
